DAKOTA UNIVERSAL TRAVEL BOXES The Dakota Universal Travel boxes are the ultimate containers for pastel artists on the go! The highly functional design and quality construction provide a means to get your pastels into the field and readily available for use. Pastels are stored and carried on both sides of each box providing a tremendous carrying capacity. Pastels are held in place when closing the box by foam cushioned panels that velcro in place. Each box is constructed of maple and maple ply and have folding suitcase style handles. Both sides of the box have wood interior divisions to help separate pastels. The Universal Travel boxes include removable flat pieces of foam in two depths and foam with die-cut slots if you wish to completely cushion your pastels. There are 240 slots in the large box and 144 slots in the small box. Many more pastels can be carried if you do not use the die-cut foam inserts. Universal Small: The small box has an outside dimension of 12” x 18” x 2” and weighs 5.2 lbs. When open the area for pastels is 18” x 24”. There are 12 sections (6 on each side) in the box. Universal Large: The large box has an outside dimension of 18” x 19” x 2” and weighs 7.5 lbs. When open you have an area 19” x 36” for pastels. There are 20 sections (10 on each side) in the box.
DAKOTA DELUXE WOOD BOXES Our Deluxe boxes are handcrafted in Washington of maple and maple ply with walnut handles. The drawers are removable from both boxes. DELUXE: The Deluxe Pastel box has four trays with removable individual slot foam inserts. Each tray holds 75 pastels for a total of 300 pastels. The lid flips open to hold one tray of pastels, one tray remains in the main box, and a drawer pulls out from each side making all four trays accessible at the same time. The Deluxe box measures 13” wide by 20” long by 7” high, and weighs approximately 11 lbs. empty. TOOLBOX: The Dakota Toolbox is a smaller and lighter three tray variation of the Deluxe box. The dimensions on the Toolbox are 9” x 23” x 5.25”, it weighs 8 lbs. and has foam slots for 180 pastels. *Dimensions are for the boxes excluding handles.

NEW! PASTEL STORAGE BOXES
The Pastel Storage Box is an inexpensive alternative for studio pastel storage. Boxes are finger joint constructed using elm hardwood and elm veneer plywood finished with a light varnish. The removable drawers are divided into five compartments (four @ 2 7/8” and one @ 1 7/8” wide) with foam padding on the bottom. The outside box dimensions including the drawer pulls are 15 3/4” wide x 10 1/8 x deep x 3 1/4 tall (for the three drawer, others are shorter).

ROZ BOXES AND ROZ BAG The Jack Richeson Company has a new tray designed to safely store and carry Unison and other oversize pastels. The Organizer Tray is made of rigid plastic, measures 16 3/4” x 7” x 1” and has slots for 34 pastels. The slots are lined with soft foam and measure 7/8” x 3 1/4”. The exterior bottom of each tray is also padded, allowing the trays to be stacked. The Roz Boxes are lightweight aluminum briefcases that hold the Organizer Trays securely in place when transporting. The aluminum cases have reinforced corners, snap closures and a folding handle.
ROZ BOX: Has four Organizer Trays, giving the box a total of 136 pastel slots. The exterior dimensions of the Roz Box are 15 1/2” x 17 1/2” x 2 3/4”. ROZ BOX 2: Has two of the Organizer Trays, giving the box a total of 68 pastel slots. The exterior dimensions of the Roz Box 2 are 7 3/4” x 17 1/2” x 2 3/4”. ROZ BAG: Made of lightweight fabric and holds four Organizer Trays in the lower compartment, has an upper section for miscellaneous supplies and an adjustable shoulder strap. 18” x 8” x 6”
EMPTY WOOD BOX FOR UNISON PASTELS!
This wood case features a unique foldout design, is made from a semi-hardwood and has a medium oak stain. The case is designed to hold 8 of the 18 piece Unison set foam inserts (included with box) for a total of 144 slots. The foam pieces are necessary to use this box. The wood arm hinges are very strong and when extended will support the weight of the box filled when pastels. When closed the box measures 18” long, 12.5” wide and 3” deep. Fully extended it becomes 54” long.
