PLACING AN ORDER:
INTERNET:
Ordering online is secure and user friendly. All products including individual pastels can be ordered. The online order system for open stock pastels is very quick and easy. Please go to our web site at www.dakotapastels.com.

FAX us TOLL FREE at 1-888-345-0063, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Please write clearly, using blue or black ink, and fill out the order form completely, including all credit card information and your signature.
MAIL:
Mail your completed order form, including signature for credit card orders, to DAKOTA ART PASTELS, P.O. Box 2258, Mt. Vernon, WA, 98273-9998. If you are a Washington State resident, please include sales tax of 7.9%. Sorry, no C.O.D. orders. We accept Visa, Mastercard, and Discover.

SHIPPING:
SHIPPING CHARGE ONLY $9.95!
We have a FLAT SHIPPING AND HANDLING FEE of $9.95 regardless of the total dollar amount of your order for all orders in the contiguous US. We do not increase the shipping and handling fees proportionately as your order increases in dollar value. You benefit from placing a larger order.
COMMON CARRIERS:
All shipments will be sent via USPS Priority Mail, UPS or FedEx Ground. Allow 5-10 working days for UPS and Fed Ex Ground delivery.
ALASKA & HAWAII:
Shipments to Alaska and Hawaii are charged only the actual cost of shipping.
INTERNATIONAL:
All International orders are charged the $9.95 Shipping and Handling fee plus the actual cost of shipping. We only send International orders via USPS Express which allows us to track the order. PAPER ORDERS:

PAPER ORDERS
FIVE SHEET MINIMUM:
We ask that you order a minimum of 5 sheets total on your order. All non-packaged quantity papers are combinable for the five sheet minimum.
PAPER SHIPPED FLAT:
We ship our papers flat in double walled corrugate cartons, so there are no hassles unrolling and uncurling your paper. Papers are also inserted in plastic bags to protect from moisture damage.
QUANTITY PRICING:
ALL varieties and colors of single sheet papers (product numbers beginning with PP) are combinable for the quantity break at 12 sheets. Papers sold in packages are not combinable for the 12+ price.

PASTEL ORDERS:
ORDERING INDIVIDUAL PASTELS:
We use the manufacturer’s numbers as our product numbers for individual pastels. Use either the number on the pastel or on the manufacturer’s color chart. The individual pastel system on our web site is the easiest way to place open stock orders.
BREAKAGE
Individual pastels are shipped in the manufacturers original boxes or in our own specially designed shipping boxes. Pastels are fragile and we extend the same disclaimer used by the pastel manufacturer’s -some breakage is to be expected. This does not diminish the usefulness of the pastel. The vast majority of pastels we ship get to our customers in perfect condition. If after inspection you find your pastels “unusable”, we will happily replace them.

GIFT CERTIFICATES:
Gift Certificates are available in any amount. We can send them to you or directly to the recipient. Please call between 9am-5pm, Monday through Friday, Pacific Time at 1-888-345-0067.

ITEMS NOT AVAILABLE:
BACKORDERING:
We will backorder items we do not have in stock from your order if the total value of those items is over $25.00. Backorders will be shipped when we receive stock from our suppliers. YOU INCUR NO EXTRA SHIPPING CHARGES ON BACKORDERS.
ONLINE ORDERS:
When an order is placed online you should get an acknowledgement of your order via email. The acknowledgement is only a confirmation of the order, all items may not be available for shipment.
OUT OF STOCK:
If we inform you that an item is out of stock, we do not have an expected delivery date from our suppliers for the product. In this instance we do not backorder the item and you will need to reorder it in the future.
OPEN STOCK PASTELS:
Dakota makes every effort to keep all colors in stock from the many pastel lines that we carry. Occasionally we will be out of some colors. We will backorder individual pastels and pastel pencils if the total value of the backorder is more than $25.00.
PAPER ORDERS:
If papers are not available, we will only backorder if there are more than the five sheet paper minimum.

You will notice that we do not list the manufacturers suggested retail prices in our catalog and then show our ‘discounted’ price. We list our price, which when compared to other sources, you will find to be very favorable. Please remember our low shipping and handling fee of just $9.95 on any size order.
