The Dakota Deluxe Traveler is the latest addition to our fine line of specialty pastel products. Italian craftsmen produce these exquisite pastel carriers to our specifications. The boxes are constructed of oiled, stain resistant beech wood, utilize finger joined corners and are fitted with high quality hardware and a leather handle. The lightweight and durable boxes are a briefcase design that offers pastel storage on both sides. Swivel latches secure panels that hold the pastels in place. We use memory foam in the bottom of the box and attached to the panels to gently cushion the pastels.

The interior of each box is divided into sections measuring 10 1/2" x 3 1/4". The small box has 6 sections and the large box has 10 sections. Each section will easily hold 20 full size large sticks of pastel or many more half sticks! The Small box is a wonderful size if you want to be very compact and still have great carrying capacity (at least 120 full sticks) - throw it in a backpack! The Large box can hold more than 200 full size pastel sticks. For compactness and portability the smaller Travel 1 box is the way to go. If you need more pastels for a workshop, trip or just to keep your pastels organized in your studio, the larger Travel 2 box offers greater capacity along with ease of access.

NOTE: The Deluxe Traveler comes complete with memory foam. We sell the foam pieces seperately also for replacement or for your use in other boxes.

CARDBOARD PASTEL BOXES

Our two-piece clamshell boxes are white and made from a sturdy .070 weight board. The 48 boxes come with a slotted foam insert and top & bottom flat foam pieces.
