GIANT TRIPOD EASEL
The Giant Tripod is the studio (or larger portable) version of our very popular Tripod Field Easel. Made of European hardwood, it provides an extra sturdy, stable surface for a pastel box with the versatility of a wide range of height adjustments and painting angles. The canvas or board holder will accommodate up to 36" height (one image shows easel with a 24" x 36" Wallis Board) and adjusts from horizontal to a forward tilt for pastels. Two fold-up shelf brackets (13" long) will support a large pastel box conveniently in front of and below the work surface. The Giant Tripod Easel will easily hold any of our Universal Travel Boxes or other pastel storage systems. Fitted with a leather carry handle for transport. The folded size is 42" x 5" x 10" and it weighs 8.75lb *The M/32 shown in the Manufacturer Details does not show the folding shelf brackets. The brackets are a custom feature added for Dakota Art Pastels!
TRIPOD FIELD EASEL
The Tripod Field Easel is a great plein air easel. Made of European hardwood, it provides a sturdy and stable surface for a pastel box and the versatility of a wide range of height adjustments and painting angles. The canvas or board holder will accommodate up to a 27" size and adjusts from horizontal to a forward tilt for pastels. Two folding shelf brackets support a pastel box while two adjustable wood blocks hold it in place. The Tripod Field Easel with our Compact or Small Universal Travel box makes a great Plein Air setup!
SOLTEK - HI-TECH FIELD EASEL The value of the Soltek easel is in its versatility, incredible ease of use and lightweight design.

The most unique feature of the Anderson Swivel Easel is the canvas mast that revolves 360 degrees (allowing you to stand to the side of the easel) and tilts 180 degrees (paint from flat to tilting forward)! An important feature for pastel artists is that the legs are directly under the easel box, providing a stable platform for a loaded pastel box. The Italian manufacturer M.A.B.E.F. makes one of the best versions of the classic French style easels! This classic design has been a standard "plein air" artist painting tool for years. GUERILLA PASTEL PAINTER BOX
Guerilla Painter makes an extremely durable pochade (compact, portable painting studio) box for the plein air pastel painter. Pochade boxes are characterized by three elements: a hinged lid that functions as an easel, a palette that slides out to one side and a storage area in the box for paints, brushes and supplies. The lid can be locked in position at virtually any angle to work on. The Guerilla Painter Pastel Box has a leather handle and rubber bumper feet on the bottom and end of the box to protect the surface. Made of strong basswood laminate, stainless steel screws and aluminum hardware. The Guerilla Box is a great tool for staying very compact for travel and painting plein air. The durability, function and compact size of this pochade box, along with the new Easel accessories allowing larger work size, make it a very suitable pastel field kit.
