Developed in 1949 in collaboration with Pablo Picasso, Sennelier oil pastel set the standard for this unique and extremely versatile medium. The sticks are extremely creamy, tremendously supple and easily blended. They are made using the highest quality organic and mineral pigments, a specially formulated non-drying binder, and the finest quality wax. These highest quality ingredients give Sennelier oil pastels superior strength, adhesion and suppleness while guaranteeing permanence and stability. All the colors are completely lightfast. Oil pastels may be used on virtually any surface whether primed or unprimed.
