Dakota mounts Wallis Sanded Pastel Paper on pH neutral, buffered, archival conservation board. The result is a product that is sturdy, flat and easy to handle. The conservation board is easily cut with a mat knife if you need to trim the edges or cut to a smaller size. The mounting board is 1/2" larger on all sides than the Wallis Paper for ease in taping your painting to a drawing board. It also makes your Dakota Wallis Pastel Board easy to mat and frame when finished!

*WATER APPLICATION: If you are using water media under painting techniques, we strongly recommend that you use the boards made with Wallis Museum Paper. As with the non-mounted papers, the Museum Grade resists buckling and is more appropriate for all water under painting techniques.
