UART Pastel paper is the choice of many professional pastel artists where consistency of surface is needed and variety of surface texture is desired. UART is beige in color, PH Neutral and Acid Free.

UART is now available in six grades ranging from 280 grit (coarse), for a heavier application of pastel, to 800 grit (finest) for a super fine detail pastel surface. It readily accepts multiple applications of soft and hard pastels, as well as watercolor and oil washes. Good results have also been achieved using other mediums for wash techniques.

The paper is available in sample packs, small size sheets in packs, single sheets and rolls. UART is also available pre-mounted on Conservation Board.

UART BOARDS

UArt paper is available mounted on Archival 4 ply Conservation Board. The mounting board is 1/2" larger on all sides than the UArt paper size designated. The mounted board makes it easier to paint on directly without taping to a surface, helps resist buckling and simplifies the framing process.
