Winsor & Newton's pastel color range is patterned after their famous W&N watercolor line, with many of the same color names used. This medium soft pastel line is similar in hardness to Rembrandt and Art Spectrum. Each pastel has a 3-digit color number followed by a tint number (1 is the lightest tint, 4 is the full strength color and 5 is the shade).
