Koh-I-Noor’s Toison D’or (means extra soft) Pastels are made from very pure micro-pulverized natural pigments on a calcium carbonate base, with minimal additives and binders. The pastels offer a very soft, silky stroke - very similar to the softest pastel on our Hardness Chart. No heavy metal pigments or other harmful substances are used.
Dakota is offering the Koh-I-Noor on a special purchase CLOSEOUT basis. They will continue to be available in Europe, but no longer through their previous US distributor. This means a great VALUE for you! The full line is a narrow 48 colors of which 12 are currently available (sorry - no White!).
Pastels can be purchased individually for only $2.00 per stick.
