I have the Paris Sennelier 1/2 stick set and I must say, for me, they are quite similar in regards to the soft buttery feel and how they go on a painting. I just got them and using them for the first time for finishing touches. They are terrific. The colors are beautiful and the 18 stick set is a great way to dive into Schmincke.

Christi Bunn07/22/2022 20:25"Shmincke 18 Half Set"I LOVE these pastels. The colors are beautiful, while the consistency is soft buttery smoothness. These are the very, very soft pastels, so be aware that they will crumble and break if not handled with much care. The olive green in this particular set is going to be one I will not want to be without. I am glad I was able to try these without the expense of a full sized set, but I can definitely see that I will want more.
