Absolute best fixative for pastels (Schmincke pastels are superb) and mixed-media drawings - charcoal, ink, graphite, pastel. Holds drawings tight, little to no color/value shift. Nothing else compares. Difficult to find in the US.

I just started using this for the first time, so my experience with it is limited. It does not have a strong or obnoxious smell, which is a real positive when you use a fixative multiple times a day. Light light passes seem to work the best, with almost no color shift on the work...dont make the mistake I made of getting the spray can just a little too close to delicate light colors for a final coat...it completely darkened the field, and the colors did not lighten back up as the fixative dried on the page. I gave it a 3 because I just dont have enough time with this fixative yet . I will buy it again.
