Karl Kelly started Mount Vision Pastels in 2000. Named for the New York town in which the company began, the idea to make a line of pastels was sparked by a fascination with color and a desire to create a firm and durable pastel that still maintained a soft and buttery texture. 2025 NEW SETS AND PACKAGING!

Mount Vision has revised and updated their packaging, changing the size of the sets, the box and interior foam packing. The majority of the sets are now in 18 piece boxes. The set contents are designed to be non-duplicating, so each set has unique colors. The selection of sets make it easy to add to your palette by selecting color family sets.
