NEW! From Mazzouli in Italy,  Stiffflex Pads Collection introduces ArtWorks Pastel Pads. The unique medium tooth surface feels smooth to the touch yet holds multiple layers of pastel. It is suitable for energetic strokes as well as soft shading. It also allows wet techniques including solvent and alcohol without affecting the grain or absorption of the surface. ArtWorks Pastel Pad papers are acid-free, neutral pH and are produced by bonding 120 gram pastelSILK paper to a 240 gram paperboard for durability.

Pads come in one size of 9.4” x 12.9” (24 x 33 cm). Each pad has a total of 16 sheets with each sheet protected by a translucent vellum sheet. The spiral bound pads are microperforated for easy removal of individual sheets. There are a total of 8 colors produced.

An outstanding feature of the pads is the spectacularly reproduced cover art. Each of the three color selections also come with three different cover artists for a total on nine pads.
