    "Dakota premier boards"
I recently tried this board. Since I asked that pastel premier be the surface attached, it's perfect. The sturdy mounting provided an easily transition into a frame.

    "Dakota Premier Boards"
They are the best! A bit more costly at the front end. But when framing it's a whole lot easier.

    "Pastel Premier paper"
Honestly the best since Kitty Wallis paper. It's a surface that holds multiple layers and easy to alter. I use the medium grade and tint it schoolbus yellow (acrylic) for plein painting.

    "Love it"
I decided to try the Dakota Premier Board. At first, I was slightly hesitant....will the texture of board will take all the layers, and how about blending?...but after applying all the layers of pastels and colored pencils I was beyond happy with the outcome. Love the the quality.

    "Premier pastel boards"
Of all the pastel supports this most closely approximates the old Kitty Wallis paper.... which is good. The 8 ply in smaller sizes is perfect for plein air. In larger sizes there is memory curvature which can make framing a challenge. Still, the best supports I have found.

    "Quality great, color not"
The color is more a cream than true white, which is what I needed.

    "excellent boards"
Love these boards! I got the fine tooth and its toothy enough to take a lot of pastel without chewing up your pastels, and the boards are tough enough to take a beating and a lot of material/mixed medium. Highly recommended.
