    "Black grit"
    For some reason Black 400 grit feels like White 600/800. Not sure why, maybe manufacturing process. They should mention this somewhere. Important to know if you're spending this much.

    Yes, the roles of Uart are a little hard to manhandle, but for the value and the ease of having plenty of paper on hand to cut the sizes you need as you go, I'm grateful the roles are available, in black and sand color as well as all the grits

    I already knew I loved this paper. I knew it would be a huge savings to buy a roll. But most importantly it arrived in great condition! The care in packaging protected the ends from damage in transit. Well done!

    "UART rolls"
    Love the rolls for large pastel paintings! I dry mount it on Gatorboard and have no curls or bumps.

    "Best pastel Paper"
    I love U-Art dark pastel paper. When I found that Dakota pastels has roles I was in heaven. Now I can pastel to my hearts content. I have found it’s easy to apply to panels or boards so the pastel paper lays flat and it’s easier to frame. For me Dakota Pastels is the best for what an artist need.

    "Uart 400 roll"
    I love Uart paper and if the bottom line is of importance the roll is the way to go. I can mount my paper onto foam core with any number of methods and have a very economical board.

    "So convenient"
    Love UART paper. It’s all I use these days. And to buy it by the roll is super convenient and economical. And shopping at Dakota is always easy and the staff super helpful when I need assistance.

    "Uart Roll of #400"
    I've used several rolls of Uart 400 over the years and enjoy having the option to work very large. I dry mount onto Gatorboard or 8-ply ragboard with archival heat-mount tissue before I begin painting, to have a rigid surface. Of course I save every scrap to create small surfaces too, for plein air paintings.
