Pencil Sampler Dark

"Wonderful Pastel Pencil Sampler of Dark Values"
This is a wonderful pencil sampler. I love some of the pencils that I previously had, but I had heard such good things about some of the others. So, it is wonderful to get to actually try them. I now have a very good idea how these will handle, as I have tried them on different substrates.

I love that you offer these sample boxes! Unfortunately one of the pencils (I think it was a deep carmine) had the end broken off, and when I tried to sharpen it with a scalpel, it kept breaking again. I can usually sharpen my pastel pencils with the scalpel, but not this one. So, I used the accompanying sandpaper which doesn’t give me as sharp a tip.

"love all the samples difficult to choose ,well presented"
I would recommend any of the makers but I think I like Faber-Castell the most
