A year ago, by total serendipity, I was introduced to pastels. I fell immediately to this way of painting after working to appreciate watercolors. The year found me spending money on most papers and pastel brands as I was starting via Patreon, to follow along. I am a 'blender' and Art Spectrum Colourfix suits, 'plays nicely' with me. I just purchased the new Canson Dry Mixed Media paper which I will review next. My most successful painting, I used mostly Unison and Rembrant brands.

Love the border around the paper. Elephant Grey is a medium color and perfect for adding lighter and darker values.
