    "So sad"
    I had never tried Blue Earth pastels before. I wanted the xtra darks. After receiving these I started a new human portrait on Uart 800 grit paper. i can’t tell you how happy I am with their performance. SO SMOOTH! They are almost like oil paint. No crumbling. And blending is phenomenal. I’m SO SAD that I have only 21 colors. Now I want a complete set. If you are struggling with getting colors dark enough, these are your answer. I’m saving my money so I can go to their store when I get back to Washington next Spring. I HAVE to have the complete set.

    My first time to use Blue Earth. The darks are darker than any set I have bought. The sticks are very soft, and heavily pigmented. I'd buy again!

    These colors are gorgeous, you can never have enough dark pastels to add those touches to your work. There's a nice assortment of violets, blues, greens, browns, and reds. A Great set!

    Falls apart very easily. Not worth 80 dollars. Would not buy again.

    "Mixed"
    These colors are INCREDIBLE! The deepest tones I've used in years and they are superb for the series I'm painting. Sadly, one arrived with the top crumbled in the box, and two others' ends have crumbled since. (I set the pieces aside, crushed them and reapplied them wtih a paint brush.)

    I have always loved Blue Earth Pastels and use them in just about every pastel painting that I do, These extra darks are luscious! I have shown them to my pastel students so maybe you will get some additional sales.
