    "Love Pastelgrain!"
    I just recently got a sample pack of Pastelgrain and I am loving it! Pastelmat is my usual paper, so I was looking forward to trying the Pastelgrain. I love the soft texture of it and I am getting consistently great results. It takes a lot of layers and just adds an interesting element to my paintings that's hard to explain. I think I actually like it better than regular Pastelmat.

    "Pastelgrain Pads"
    I tried this out last week, and I liked it. It took a lot of color. I enjoyed painting on the surface. I liked the size of the pads and variation of the grays.

    "Very similar to pastelmat"
    Not enough of a difference from patelmat to make me purchase again.

    "Pastelgrain - Very Smooth"
    I thought the new Pastelgrain would have more texture and enable me to create more texture in my paintings. I didn't experience that. The Pastelgrain is very smooth. It doesn't have more texture than Pastelmat. I will stick with Pastelmat.

    "Great surface for colored pencil"
    I would recommend this product to all colored pencil artist. It takes several layers of color and blends well.
