After taking a three day workshop with Barbara Jaenicki, I had to order my own set of her Winter Landscape Richeson pastels. Used them the other day and I love the color ranges and pastels! I paint winter scenes at the shore where I live, so they will be used a lot.

Received the 80 piece Jaenicke sent very promptly. The winter collection of colors is outstanding. This set will be my main collection in a March workshop.

These were the first Richersons I ever tried. The color range is good to my purposes. I added a couple of individual blues and greens into the set - so it works for other kind of scenes as well. A couple of sticks were too hard, and they have to be replaced with other brand sticks. As general, the consistence and color intensity of the sticks is good to me. Regarding to the moderate price, I am very happy with this set.

I bought this set for my wife on her birthday. She just loves them.
