    "Love Townsend"
    First dakotapastels is the very best. Never worry about your pastels here. They will take care of you. One of mine did come broken but I couldn’t remember the name of the color. That was my fault so they only could give me a refund for that one pastel. What they didn’t tell me is they gave me free shipping with my code as well so it really was well worth it. Thanks for being here for us.

    I like the pumice in the sticks. Some colors seem too close to each other in the set. I would like to see a greater variety.

    "Try something new"
    I’d never tried Townsend pastels and wanted to give them a try. They are larger than most soft pastels and have beautiful true colors with effortless adhesion. I plan to try more colors!

    "Pastel Clouds set DT"
    Set could have been reduced by 4 or 5 pastels and sold at a reduced price. Colors were very similiar.

    I am pleased with the pastel colors and with the generous size of each pastel. They are what I need to supplement my other sets. They lay down very nicely.

    "Perfect set for Clouds"
    This set of colors/tints is just what I needed for clouds and subtle color or highlights without using stark white. The packaging is perfect in keeping the pastels neat and unbroken. Always wonderful customer service from Dakota Art!

    I LOVE Diane Townsend pastels and this set is wonderful! These are the subtly colored lights that I use whenever I need to paint any subject that is white. Clouds, snow, sand, white fur, cloth! They give just the right look to my whites without being cold and chalky! If you are looking for a set of lights that aren't too 'white' give this set a try!
