    "Irregular shapes and crumbles"
    Each pastel has own shapes. Some much wider than others. It's hard to like them because of irregular shapes and it crumbles as you pick up. Also some are hard to get it out of the box ( too tight in the slot of the box) Overall, I would not buy them when I finish using them. I used soft pastels but they don't crumble. This one does.

    "Great American 120 Half Out & Terrace"
    Great colors, but they are very delicate and break easily. One other thing that upset me was that I had to wait approximately three months for half of my order. Apparently they're a bit behind in production.

    "Lovely Self Contained 4 Lanscape"
    Did a practice round to see how well this selection worked for landscape and I was pleasantly pleased with the palette! I noticed so many other selections have become unavailable. Bummer!

    "Super Value alternative to other soft pastels"
    I purchased this set to get a wider value range of super soft pastels on a smaller budget. They are perfect for that job and I have been very successful with them. If you struggle to pay the price for the more expensive pastels, this is almost a perfect alternative for similar performance.

    "Soft and Versatile"
    I like GA for multiple phases of a painting. Since they are very soft, they work well for a saturated mark when there is ample tooth. THEN I use them when the tooth is completely full! For clouds, specifically, they glide across the top of the colors with a feathering affect. Love it! Love them!

    awesome pastels. Good price, great colors, layer well and go on smooth. I highly recommend

    "Soft Pastels"
    I just stasted with pastels and bought inexpensive sets at local art stores. I cant believe the difference. Creamy, soft and beautiful colors. My friend and i bought Outdoors and On the Terrace and we split them so we both have 120 colors with. No duplicates. I love them. Treat yourself. You won't regret it.

    "Beautiful colors, super soft pastels"
    Only rated a 4 because although packaged well, one or two pastels were shattered when I opened the box. Be aware these are such soft pastels that they can crumble when lifting from protective inner foam! Each set comes with color key sheet and no colors are duplicated between sets.. very happy!!
