    I love these little boards...they have a great sanded surface and fun to do quick color studies.

    "new favorite!"
    I thought I would try pastelbord for a commission I needed to do, and I am sold on this surface! It took as much pastel as I needed it to, and was a nice sturdy surface to work on. I love the grey, have not used the white yet, but purchased more to experiment.Framing will be my next hurdle!

    I keep coming back to this brand as I like how my pastels react with it probably my favorite.

    "Great Surface!"
    Ampersand has become one of my favorite surfaces as the board is hearty and remains flat w/no curl or warp. The surface holds lots of layers, but isn't quite as toothy as some of the others which really eat up the pastel sticks. I also really appreciate that they come individually wrapped in plastic which helps protect them from scratches and stray marks either in shipping and/or in storage before using them.

    "Pastel boards"
    The Ampersand Pastel Boards arrived in perfect condition. I use these boards for nearly every Pastel painting I produce. They come with a toned surface and accept layer after layer of pastel. Highly recommend this product.
