Very nice

My first set of Sennelier pastels which are creamy with beautiful shades of color. They are very delicate and a few broke when I gently took them out of the boxes foam container slots though.

I love the Sennelier Pastels and was looking forward to this collection. I thought I'd take the time and make an inventory but was unable to do that. Apparently substitutions were made such that the numbers listed on the enclosed paper chart did not completely match the numbers on the outside of the box, and I was also unable to confirm colors by those shown on the computer. Looks as if I will have to order the hand created chart from Dakota Pastels if I want to know what colors to reorder in the future. I'll also expect substitutions and changes when ordering sets in the future.

Gorgeous saturated colors, delightful additions to my palette.

I have used Sennelier ever since I started pastels 20 years ago. The best colors but the full sticks tend to break and the half sticks are perfect for plein air painting. They aren't the only pastels i use but perhaps the softest.
