You thought I was talking about food, right—my second set of TLs are worth every penny. They glide on any surface and are full of rich pigments. It also has a nice variety of shades/tints in this set.

Very happy that I purchased the Terry Ludwig 30 Best Blues to add to my pastel collection. It has helped to have just that “right” color when drawing skies, water, and even shadows.

What can I say about Ludwig pastels? They are superior. I would like to add though that I think you’ll find a mix of other brands is a plus. I find them a bit larger than most pastels in their range when comparing. The colors are rich and lay down so nicely. I find they easily cover over other colors when building layers. Well worth the expense. They are between a unison and a blue earth or den elite. Soft and creamy yet somewhat firm and beefy. Pretty amazing really. Must have!

They feel good, but there are a tot of dups from other sets I have. I should have thought more before I bought it.
