I LOVE this selection of colors and the quality of her pastels never disappoints! They are soft yet with a little bit of grit added which is just enough to keep my layering going!

Love these for flowers and sunsets! Wish they were a bit softer but love the hues.

This is my first purchase of Diane Townsend pastels. While I like the color choices within this collection (and the price), the consistency of the pastels is harder than I prefer. Compared to Great American and the Sennelier light colors, these sticks require more pressure to produce an even distribution. While I'm still experimenting with various brands, I probably will try others before selecting this one again.

I already use Townsend soft pastels and love them. The colors they offer are beautiful and wonderful to paint with. I was looking for a fun set of colors. I ordered the set of Hot Colors. They are intense and beautiful as well. Love the set!
