    "Pastel paper- Uart"
I have hundreds of pastel papers, boards, and hand made strata. They are all fun and purposeful. However tried and true Uart400 is my go-to. Dependable, consistent, delivers tooth and holds vibrancy of color. It's a luxury and joy to have them mounted on a board. Plein aire is easier whipping up a few sizes and heading out. Check out the smaller sizes. They allow artists to complete a work in a briefer time. Those 8x10 and smaller allow for quicker demos with small groups or protection equipment.

"Uart 4 ply boards 400 grit"
I was a little unhappy when the boards arrived with a considerable bowing. I was able to correct this with 5 days under my 15 lb dumbbell. I like the grit on the U art paper so well it was worth the trouble but I hope future boards are flat.

    "6x8 4 Ply boards"
As a Professional Artist I follow my own instruction and keep a daily practice. To that end I use these 6x8 for my color studies and Plein Air. They are a perfect size. Eve Miller

    "Uart boards"
I bought the boards so I would not have to tape down the paper I use for pastels. I used the board the first time and it bowed… tried to flatten out with weights

    "UArt Boards"
Boards warped about one month after delivery. Will mount my own.

    "U art boards"
I love the paper and the boards. The boards are kind of expensive, but they are totally worth it having them pre-mounted saves on framing, and provides a good surface to do the painting. 400 is my favorite.

    "Warped corners"
Great product. Saves me time to have the Uart paper is mounted by you, but the corners are warped. I guess this is due to the application of heat during the mounting process. Perhaps it would be better for me to order Uart on 8-ply board. In this particular case, I will have to counter-mount a perfectly stiff board to the back.

    "Dented/bent corner"
One corner of the 5-pack was damaged/bent. Hopefully won't interfere with framing as doesn't like to lay flat. All 5 in pack this way. Looking forward to trying these out so was disappointed about this. Still usable though might have framing trouble. A packing/shipping issue-corners need to be better protected from box being tossed around during shipping. Box was not in pretty shape when it arrived. Everything else inside was fine.

    "Great for Plein Air"
Love these for pastel Plein Air. Not bad in the studio either -so easy to frame.

    "Excellence."
I received my order today (!) all the way from the other side of the country! Only took 3 days to get to my home. And it got even better....the wonderful wrapping of the products and the box container, etc. was amazingly well done! Only 3 thin products carefully wrapped and packaged for safe delivery. Only a small order...but it looked like a lot of care went into the order as if it was worth thousands. Want to congratulate everyone who was involved in its preparation. Well done! "Thank you so much." And, Yes! I like the sanded paper on boards! An appreciative new customer, Luda :)

    "Uart 4-ply boards"
Love the surface for plein air painting. The odd size created for the border to extend prevents from being popped into a standard frame.

    "Uart Boards"
I was searching for a stronger base instead of just using the Uart paper. These are very nice but pricey for someone who is still learning the techniques. Hope someday to get good enough to justify the cost.

    "Awesome"
I honestly don’t want to use anything else for my pastels. Great product at an affordable price. Thanks

    "UArt 4 ply pastel board"
The board is awfully thin. It's just stiff enough to be helpful. The price for the premium board is just too expensive. The 4 ply is expensive too for what it is. If the UArt regular paper didn't curl so much, I would probably stick with that.

Came in perfect condition, Thanks Dakota!

    "Very Satisfied"
Very easy to work with, some of the softer pastels did not stick as well as paper with heavier grit. I will use again.

    "So far so good..."
I have limited experience with these, as I am trying them to see if it makes pastel framing easier -i.e. no mounting afterward. I don't tend to Paint the whole area, so cutting them down is a challenge. I do like the paper border as I move my paintings around a lot while in progress and I don't smudge the work. They take watercolor underpainting well and resist bowing i use mainly size 16 x 20".

"Can’t go wrong with Uart boards!"
Top 3 favorite sanded support for soft pastel!

    "First time user !"
I've been using Uart Paper 400 grit. Of course the paper is less expensive. So when I'm trying out something new, I'll use the paper for practice. When I am working towards a finished piece, I will use the mounted board. It is an off white or beige color. Much easier to use the board. No taping onto boards. Just put it on your easel and start !

    "Delivery Issue"
Boards arrived with slightly mashed corner on each. Some of the boards were dirty on the back (where it doesn't matter, but still...)

    "Uart Boards"
Uart boards are my go-to surface when painting pet portraits. The fine grit is perfect for layering pastel.
