    Best product for pastel painting I have used to date. Boards are well packaged so the surface remains pristine. Also, Dakota's packaging for shipping was outstanding.

    "I love these UArt premium mounted boards"
    UArt Premium Mounted Boards are so rigid and durable that you can create some very wet, drippy underpaintings without worrying that the paper will buckle or curl. Out of sheer frustration with an uncooperative painting, I’ve run them under a faucet to rinse off the pastel, and though a “ghost” image is left, the board retains its tooth and the paper stays mounted securely. I love using them.

    "Art Premium Boards"
    I have never used a mounted board before, just paper, but I do love the 400 grit, and look forward to using this in my next workshop. I love the stability, as opposed to just the paper. Easier to put onthe drawing board.

    Love this board. I usually underpaint with watercolor or a alcohol wash and it works well. I then apply hard and soft pastels.
