I has been wanting to try Unison pastels for a while when I saw this set was on sale. These are half sticks, so they are small but I break my larger sticks anyway. The set is a good value given the number of sticks and color variety. This set also filled several color and value gaps in my studio box. I like that they give you multiple values for each hue. I have only used these on a few pieces so far. I find them to be a bit harder than Great American or Sennelier but softer than my Terry Ludwigs. Color saturation is excellent. So far they have worked well on Pastelmat. Will see how they do on different supports. Very pleased with my choice!

For my plein air box.. Perfect.

Unison pastels are one of my go to pastels. If I could have only 1 type of pastel in my collection Unison is it! The half stick set works wonderfully in my plein air/travel bag. No wrapper to manage and color selection is wonderful.

Extremely happy with these pastels. I found the half pan set the perfect size, and the range of colours was good. I would highly recommend these. Perfect set for someone who is a beginner that wants to move on from student grade to artist quality. Thank you!

Love, love, love the half sticks. I always break the full sticks in half anyway and this gives you a great assortment of Unisons for a great price! I am hoping they will bring out some color sets in the half sticks in the future. As always Unisons a joy to work with...they fulfill that niche between the hard and soft pastels...give excellent color. Would highly recommend to friends.

I received the package in perfect condition , it was nicely wrapped. I liked the sample of colourfix mini cards. The only thing I would have liked to have is a color chart.
