Even a lifeless mannequin has form, but the life of a figure drawing does not come from perfected form. If you divide figure drawing and painting into two parts, they are the form and the gesture. Gesture is the life, while form is the structure. Let’s hone your gestural skills with quick and efficient gesture drawings.
This workshop offers instruction on figure drawing, and uses the nude life model as our source. Become efficient in your approach to drawing in an open figure session, and learn to apply gesture, form, color and line in successful ways.
