This 6-day en plein air and studio workshop will focus on how to take authority and orchestrate the visual elements of design to communicate artistic intent producing a stronger painting. Analogies are the conductor of the orchestra and director of a film.

One has a score, the other a script, but both control the players to produce the final performance. Students will explore manipulations of composition, value, and color as a means of adding their personal feelings to landscape subject matter.
