these pencils are exactly what I hoped they they would be. They are NOT the same as my other pencils. They are much harder and, as advertised they are also very strong, so I can hold on, exert alot of pressure and NOT have the pencil snap in two in my hand. They sharpen up to a very fine point and do not break when I use them . So they actually give me options which I did not have with my other pastel pencils. Glad I took a chance

Just received them last week I’ve only used a few, but I am extremely impressed with them. They sharpen well and do not break. Whoever invented these was a genius I love them. I could see already I’m hoping there’s gonna be another 36 to 60 colors coming out.

I just love these beautiful pencils with no casing around them. I just started playing around with them. I think the are excellent for Pastelmat and Canson Velvet. The blend very nicely and they layer well.
