Dakota Pastels makes paper & board sampler so you can try out small pieces of the varying pastel substrates.

DAKOTA PASTEL PAPER SAMPLER

A sample packet of our coated pastel papers approximately 6"x8" (these may be cut from larger stock, so borders may vary from the description): Art Spectrum Colourfix, Mi-Teintes Touch, La Carte, LuxArchival, Pastelmat, Pastel Premier, UArt (1 grit), UArt Dark (1 grit), Velour. NEWLY ADDED: Rives BFK, MiTeintes, Mixed Media Pastel Card, Pastelgrain.

DAKOTA BOARD SAMPLER

A sampler of our coated pastel boards with one board each, approximately 5"x7" (these may be cut from larger board stock, so borders may vary from the description): Ampersand Pastelbord, LuxArchival 4-ply, Multimedia Pastel Panel, Pastelmat Board, Pastel Premier 4-ply, Pastel Premier 8-ply, UArt 4-ply(1 grit), UArt 8-ply(1 grit).

DAKOTA SOFT PASTEL SAMPLERS

We make pastel samplers to give you an opportunity to experience the softness, texture and size of the various pastel lines. We vary the colors included in each sampler to make them useful additions to your palette, but the set is not designed to be a comprehensive working set. Pastel samplers are made from available stock and each is unique. 

SOFT SAMPLER (12 PASTELS): Blue Earth, Blockx, Art Spectrum Extra Soft, Girault, Great American, Mount Vision, Schmincke, Sennelier, Richeson Handrolled, Terry Ludwig, Townsend Soft, and Unison.

CUSTOM SAMPLER: Custom samplers of single color range can be requested. i.e., Pinks, Violets, Yellows, etc. Please call with your request.

Sampler sets are not designed to be a comprehensive working set and colors chosen are completely random, & dependent on available stock.
