MY WORKSHOP GOALS

Create a hands-on understanding of the pastel medium and the ability to create successful paintings. Learn by direct experience and observation from my daily live demos plus experiencing/sharing the work of other students in the class. 

MATERIALS AND SUPPLIES

Dakota offers a 10% discount on all products purchased throughout the workshop. The Basic Pastel Stroke exercise grids are provided by Dakota and me for the first day. I provide hundreds of landscape reference photos from my travels all over the world but also encourage you to bring your own to paint from after day 1.

WHAT TO EXPECT AFTER THE WORKSHOP

You will be able to work successfully on your own using the techniques that will be covered in the workshop, as you develop your own style and techniques. Even experienced pastel artists come away with new skills, as countless testimonials verify. You will be ready for painting outdoors on-site (plein air) as a next step.
