Another year without a vacation. I treated myself to this set. It is beautiful. It is a wonderful to have all of the colors in which the Sennelier Soft Pastels are made at my fingertips. The set is very large and I have found a dresser to put it on. I have used Sennelier Soft Pastels over 40 years always buying sticks in bunches. Sticks I have from my first purchases still work so I know this is a solid investment to have at hand. My head is spinning have everything at my disposal

WOW! Where do I start. I knew the pastels were very nice because I recently acquired a " Paris" set. I was using that set as "top" marks, because of the beautiful softness and clarity of color of the pastels. With the new, full set I decided to use the Sennelier for the whole drawing, except any underpainting. With the color range available, plus the staggeringly beautiful clarity of the pigments, I find I am able to achieve qualities of light, glow and contrast with a few light strokes. I thought there were some drawing skills that I had just not been able to really master, but this set has taught me that I can achieve the results I envision with the right tools, and the Sennelier are the RIGHT tools for me. It is an absolutely fantastic set.

I was finally able to afford the set I've had my eyes on for a while and Dakota Pastels was definitely who I wanted to buy it from. Such an expense (but a great deal through them) needed to be handled with care and I know from my past experiences with Dakota Pastels that they would do just that. They would also honor any issues that would have arisen should any damage occur in shipping. Thankfully, the set arrived intact and I am having the best time! I already recommended Dakota to a FB group that is from all over the world. Hopefully they will find out for themselves how wonderful Dakota Pastels is.
