I received my set of Blue Earth 56 Nomad Brights last week. As wonderful as new pastels are and trying them is exciting, there is often a moment when one hesitates. Do I want to actually pull back that protective foam, do I want to disturb that pristine arrangement of intense color? Of course, the answer is, “Yes!” I already owned some wonderful soft pastels, but Blue Earth’s pastels are the best I have ever used. I love their soft, luscious intense color. The pastel barely has to touch the surface to leave its exquisite marks. I highly recommend Blue Earth’s heavenly pastels.

I received these as a prize and absolutely love them. They are very soft and have gorgeous colors. I also love the box. After each painting session I clean the pastels and put them back in order. Next time I order new pastels it will be another set of these.

I'm loving Blue Earth so much right now. I have both Nomad sets and the Red set, and honestly...! just want them all. Dakota has been amazing too - they've included free paper in my orders two out of three times. Their service is incredible, and I almost never get a broken pastel. Truly the best. I have been using these for a while now and I find the colors and the smoothness to be equal to or better than the two other best pastels, Schminke and Sennelier. Every color is goes on smooth.

I had a gift card to spend and decided this would be the perfect addition to my nomad set. I was right! Not only are the vibrant colors a great addition, but this small set fits perfectly in the empty slots of my Blue Earth box. However, even better is the amazing customer service. I see no reason to shop anywhere else for my pastels supplies 💖

Vibrant colors and one of the softest, smoothest pastels I have ever worked with. I like these better than Schminkes or Mount Vision. They are my go to pastel for all my art.

This is my second set of Blue Earth Nomad sticks and I love them. Talk about buttery soft! And it's terrific to have those straight, sharp sides for putting in marks that require that type of application.

This is a wonderful set and makes a great companion to the original Nomad set. When I first received the Nomad set I was uncertain about the vertical orientation of the sticks but have grown to love it. I am very pleased with both sets and can’t wait to use them early in the new year. The hues are lovely and will make perfect plein air sets.
