The Tripod Field Easel is great for studio or plein air painting. Made in Italy of oiled beechwood, it provides a sturdy and stable surface for a pastel box and the versatility of a wide range of height adjustments and painting angles. The canvas or board holder will accommodate up to a 24 1/2" size and adjusts from horizontal to a forward tilt for pastels. 

Two folding shelf brackets support a pastel box (both Dakota Deluxe Traveler large and small boxes work on this easel) while two adjustable wood blocks clamp the box in place. The maximum height off the ground for the folding arms (height of pastel box) is 40". The Tripod Field Easel and the Dakota Deluxe Traveler(s) create a sturdy and convenient studio or plein air setup!
