I love pastelMat paper. It holds an incredible amount of pastel. It took a little time to get used to the way it takes on pastel. The first layers are a bit like a stain. Once they are on, they are not to be moved. After, it is like a dream and very little dust falls off when done.

"My first order with Dakota"
My Pastlemats arrived in 6 work days after placing my order. They were carefully wrapped in plastic and were received in perfect condition. As an experiment I tried a new color of pastel paper called Sanguine which was accurately pictured on line. I also received an assortment of Richison pastels. Again they were beautifully packaged and arrived in perfect condition. I will definitely order from Dakota again. Wish you were located in Philadelphia!
